Power Exchange Explained
Power exchange is the engine behind a lot of BDSM. It is the consensual act of one person giving authority and another accepting it, within agreed limits. Understanding it makes almost everything else in kink click into place. Here is a clear look.
What power exchange means
In a power exchange, one partner voluntarily hands some control to the other. The submissive lends power; the Dominant holds it with care. Nothing is taken, everything is given, and it can be handed back at any time.
It is always consensual
Real power exchange only works because both people agree to it. Consent is what separates it from control. The moment consent ends, so does the exchange.
Scene versus ongoing

Total power exchange
